The green light was on and everyone started moving. As always there were uncles and young lads, two distinct kinds of people especially when it comes to driving on the road.
I was driving along too. There was this uncle with upright chest stature, head held high and a medium sized belly driving his scooter at around 40kmph moving parallely with me on the right side. He went too close to the divider(though no real divider, it was just a line). He suddenly started moving towards me, he would have slowed down and came behind instead kept moving with me. He came too close that i had to move towards my left. As commonly evident on the Indian roads a young lad of my age with heavy acceleration was dashing from behind on my left side but i didnt notice him until the end. Uncle from the right side, me moving leftwards and that young guy dashing towards me from the left.
The young guy never took a detour neither did the uncle slowed down. But why did this concern me so much? 'Cause after a few moments i was lying on the road. The lad tipped me and i fell. I felt so erratic that i felt like bashing each of them. But was deciding to take up whom first. Deciding who should get the real blame first. Uncle, the guy or me?
Even before i decided upon one of them, what i could see was really surprising. They both started blaming each other and came heavily on the words too. And what really irritated was they didnt have the minimum courtesy to come and pick me up who was lying on the road like a lame ass. Some random guy on the road should be appreciated for it. Lately i realised that they were blaming each other simply to escape the real blame from me. Pricks!. But the real stupid thing i saw was yet to come.
I never said a word. Some guy helped me with the bike and i left the spot. After travelling a few yards i casually turned around to see if any vehicle was approaching 'cause i had to take a turn and what i saw was really... the word 'stupid' cannot satisfy the situation. Both the young guy and the uncle were still bashing and blaming each other.
Does it happen only in India?
While i was writing this post now, though irritating it somehow satisfied me a bit... :D
Atleast two guys were fighting for me if not girls hehe...jus kidding. This accident happened almost a year ago.
